[CARTOON] Tour de Lance

[CARTOON] Tour de Lance. cartoon, celebrity, drugs, rides, spoof, sports

Cartoon image of Johnny Ancich. Creator of Past Expiry Cartoon.

Inspired by news of Tyler Hamilton, a former teammate of Armstrong, has told CBS News that he used performance-enhancing drugs with the seven-time Tour de France winner to cheat in cycling races, including the tour. Armstrong has steadfastly denied doping and has never failed a drug test.

I've never been a fan of Tour de France, or bicycle racing for that matter. Perhaps they should just allow the riders to use whatever drugs they want... it would still take talent to balance the extra weight of the drug cylinder on your back. They could even put sponsor logos on it.

Learn to ride a bicycle [to work]. You will not regret it if you live. - Mark Twain

[CARTOON] The New Yorker Caption Contest #208

"The Holy Grail of every cartoonist is to be published in the magazine The New Yorker. A slightly easier way to get published there is through their weekly caption contest. The New Yorker won't let personal blogs post the cartoon for this week's contest because of copyright laws. The solution: draw their cartoon in my own style and add the caption I submitted. Wish me luck (again)."
