Inspired by news of Tyler Hamilton, a former teammate of Armstrong, has told CBS News that he used performance-enhancing drugs with the seven-time Tour de France winner to cheat in cycling races, including the tour. Armstrong has steadfastly denied doping and has never failed a drug test. I've never been a fan of Tour de France, or bicycle racing for that matter. Perhaps they should just allow the riders to use whatever drugs they want... it would still take talent to balance the extra weight of the drug cylinder on your back. [CARTOON] Privacy Issues

In Toronto, the Transit commission (TTC) is installing cameras on all of it's buses and should be done by next May. One man's tool to catch criminals is another man's privacy issue. Some creative entreprenuers might make some money off of this...

Every summer in late August till Labour Day, Toronto holds the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition), or "The Ex" for short. It's been probably at least 6 or 7 years since the last time I went, but this cartoon pretty much sums it up for me (although I am not 55).
