See you at the Exhibition...

Every summer in late August till Labour Day, Toronto holds the CNE (Canadian National Exhibition), or "The Ex" for short. It's been probably at least 6 or 7 years since the last time I went, but this cartoon pretty much sums it up for me (although I am not 55).

Got Milk?

A little spoof on the Got Milk question in light of some toys being recalled for lead paint.

NOTE: it appears the last few cartoons I have sent do not show the image, but rather just a link to the image. I'm in the process of trying to figure this out but it does seem to be a problem with blogger.com which hosts my blog.

Talos IV

Lead contamination recalls on a different level...

I've been Simpsonized.

Simply go to http://simpsonizeme.com/ and upload a picture of your face, wait for a basic conversion, then fine tune your facial features, hair, eyes, nose, and clothes. Before you know it, you are your own Simpsons character.

I think this is a pretty good representation of me, although I don't think I am that "round" in the middle.

And yes ladies, I'm single! Bowm-chicka, bowm-bowm....

Lead contamination

This cartoon was based on a priceless punchline I heard from a friend who unfortunately didn't recall the joke exactly, but the punchline alone was funny when taken into context with recent toy recalls. I couldn't resist drawing a cartoon around it.

Ask Captain Pike

This site is simple, yet priceless.

Simply ask Captain Pike (from Star Trek) any question VERBALLY, then press the ASK button.

It works! It REALLY works!

Drunk in space

A cartoon about the current shuttle mission with a subtle reference to the news story about some
shuttle pilots being drunk at launch time on a previous mission.
