Creative? Why you should use Redbubble.

RedBubble is a company that allows independent artists such as myself to sell my artwork on a number of different products. From framed prints to t-shirts, iPhone covers to travel mugs and much more. There are over 70  different products to choose from. They handle all of the financial transactions, printing and production of the products and the delivery and customer service.

By far their most popular products are in my opinion their shirts. Most T-shirt sites offer just a standard T-shirt, maybe the same design on some different colors and that is it.  Most of the RedBubble T-shirts come in over 17 colors, and various T-shirt types:  long sleeve, active (not me), long, 3/4 Sleeve, Premium, V-neck, Tri-Blend, Slim Fit, Schiffon Top, Fitted, Fitted Scoop, and more!

Another product that is quite timely is Masks!  If your jurisdiction is going to force you to wear one, you may as well get one with a design you like.  Practically anything you can put on a a T-shirt can go on a mask.

RedBubble is one of the leading POD platforms (POD stands for print on demand) for the independent artist to sell their designs on a wide range of products. Print on demand means basically what you would expect; they only print on their products when someone buys your work. On RedBubble you can find a wide range of artists from famous YouTubers to absolute normie artists like me.

Not an artist or great photographer? You can still make a commission with an existing website or blog that you have.  Consider joining the RedBubble affiliate program! If you just appreciate great art, photography and design, head on over to RedBubble.com and see what you can find.

To join RedBubble as an artist is really simple; you just create an account. Get some high-quality photos of your artwork and upload it via your artist account. From there you can add your art, or photos, to the products of your choice. There are well over 70 products to put your design on, with some of the main categories being:

·         Clothing

·         Stickers

·         Phone cases

·         Wall art

·         Home & Living

·         Kids & Babies

·         Accessories

·         Stationery

·         Gifts

Once your design is placed on the product and you ‘publish’ the design it is then available (usually well within 15 minutes) for you to order any of the products.  Not only is it available to you, but to any one of the 1000s of visitors that visit the RedBubble site (unless you mark the design as private).  Just think, that coffee mug with your face on it could be bought by someone who fancies you in Belarus!

Pretty much anyone from anywhere in the world can order from RedBubble. RedBubble even takes care of the local and national taxes the customer would have to pay.  You set the percentage above the base price, so you have full control on your artist margin per product.  RedBubble takes care of all the headaches involving shipping, taxes, currency conversion, and even returns.  The biggest headache that RedBubble solves is TRAFFIC.  You may have seen various ads, particularly from Wix and Shopify where making money online is simply putting up a pretty website with their miraculous tools. WRONG.  You can have the prettiest, fanciest website in the world and it will not generate sales unless you have tons of traffic. For getting a lot of traffic to your site requires you put in a lot of work! And I mean A LOT. Even with A LOT of work, you still may find you will have to pay for advertisements to drive the level of traffic that you need.  Last time I checked, RedBubble had over 20 MILLION visitors a month!

Occasionally there are Promo codes for saving 10 to 30% off of the product price which you can use to entice potential buyers who might be undecided about one of your products, or a friendly reminder to past customers to check out your latest designs.
